Beginning....

I love to buy blank journals.  There is something magical about a book full of empty pages and imagining what it will become over time.  The hard part, though, comes in putting those first words to page.

For as much as I write, I've never been much of a blogger because of that initial difficulty in getting those first words down.  Where do you start?  What will you write about?  How do you introduce yourself and what you have to talk about?  Do you even have the authority to write about whatever topic?

So a simple post to start this blog, more about just starting than actually saying something of deep interest.  Hopefully something of deep interest shows up here eventually. :)
